Description
Summary

Supervises a team of security guards that are responsible for monitoring company grounds to people and property. Provides first level supervision (usually supervises less than 25 positions) and may perform full security officer job functions.

Responsibilities
  • Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities

  • Monitors opening and closing machines for routine repairs and maintenance when assigned to gaming facility
  • Engages in and de-escalates contentious situations with visitors, patrons, patients, employees, etc.
  • Prepares daily reports
  • Follows guidelines to protect guests and employees in emergency situations such as inclement weather, fire, active shooter, etc.
  • Communicates employee concerns to the next level supervision or management and participates in investigations while maintaining confidentiality; effectively resolves all minor concerns or complaints
  • Ensures all audits, reports and other operational communications are accurate and timely
  • Completes a variety of standard and ad hoc reports as required
  • Assists staff with accomplishing goals
