Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a part-time role to assist clients with daily living activities and monitor behaviors. You will help plan and lead therapeutic recreation, provide front desk coverage and administrative support, and assist the treatment team with medication adherence and health needs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor’s degree preferred in psychology or social work, and experience with the criminal justice system or child services.

Come talk to us about joining the Centerstone team!JOB DESCRIPTION:SUMMARY OF POSITIONAssists clients with daily living activities and tracks, monitors and documents client behaviors and interactions. Assists in planning therapeutic recreation for groups, and may lead individual and group activities with clients. Completes day-to-day program tasks, monitors clients and the program facility to ensure safety and compliance with program guidelines. Serves as the point of contact by providing coverage of the front desk, reception area, and phone systems. Provides administrative and program support for the staff and residents.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAssists clinical staff in meeting and monitoring the client’s medical and health care needs by observing and documenting client compliance with medication regimes as dictated in the treatment plan.Assists in the implementation of agency programs as specified by supervisor. Facilitates group activities according to program schedule and implements individualized care plans as developed by the treatment team.Assists clients in learning how to meet basic needs, including activities such as: medication management, developing life skills (i.e. cooking, money management, cleaning, and parenting), pursuing recreational and leisure activities, housing, transportation, legal, medical and financial assistance, and securing appropriate entitlements.Assists in census management, admissions, and discharges.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESEffectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.QUALIFICATIONSEducation LevelHigh school diploma or GED required.
