Behavioral Health Network is seeking Recovery Specialists to join the Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS) team in a 24-hour residential treatment setting in Western Massachusetts. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, recovery-oriented environment and supporting individuals through structured substance-use treatment and daily activities.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED; CNA/MA preferred. Candidates with personal recovery experience are favored.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) credential preferred.
• Two years of sustained recovery preferred for candidates drawing upon personal recovery experience.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsabilités

• Support the daily operations and therapeutic milieu of CSS, maintaining a safe, recovery-oriented environment.
• Perform and document required safety checks accurately and per policy.
• Provide respectful, person-centered support and encourage engagement in treatment and daily activities.
• Assist admissions and discharges with required information and documentation.
• Coordinate care with nursing, counseling, recovery-support, and program staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Support self-administration of medication and complete required documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and seek direction from the team when needed.
• Complete accurate electronic health record entries and incident reports.
• Provide safe transportation to appointments and assist with unit needs as assigned.
• Protect confidentiality under HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 and complete required training.
