The position requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred, not required.
• Excellent verbal, social and writing skills.
• Ability to use computers to enter data and access electronic health records.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment with focus on high-quality services and satisfaction.
• Facilitate movement of clients around the building in a safe and orderly fashion.
• Provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Conduct alcohol and drug screens with respect and dignity for clients.
• Assist with admission and discharge procedures as required.
• Oversee unit housekeeping to keep spaces clean and orderly.
