Job summary

Gaudenzia, Inc. in Philadelphia is seeking a Residential Aide to provide direct and support services in a residential setting. You will supervise client activities, assist with daily routines, and help maintain a safe, orderly environment.

This union-position role requires a High School Diploma or GED, knowledge of D&A treatment, and willingness to attend mandatory trainings. You’ll work closely with clients to support recovery and program adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of DA/Alcohol abuse treatment helpful.
• Ability to follow program rules and maintain log books.

Responsibilities

• Assists in supervision of client activities and maintains the log book.
• Attends mandatory trainings and in-house conferences as directed.
• Provides overview of program rules and services to new clients entering the program.
• Maintains order and ensures compliance with rules and regulations.
• Monitors clients for medical distress and documents incidents as needed.
• Facilitates residents' morning meetings and rap sessions.
