Job summary

New Day Recovery is seeking an experienced, compassionate Program Director to provide leadership and oversight for our substance use disorder recovery program in Senath, Missouri. The role focuses on driving accountability, developing staff, and ensuring high-quality, recovery-oriented care.

The ideal candidate will lead a hands-on team, strengthen processes, and collaborate with clinical and support staff to deliver consistent, compassionate services while meeting regulatory and accrediting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience managing employees and building teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with clinical and operational leadership

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of daily program operations
• Supervise, support, and develop program staff
• Establish clear expectations and promote accountability across the team
• Coordinate with clinical and recovery-support staff to ensure continuity of care
• Help develop, implement, and maintain program policies and procedures
• Monitor program quality, documentation, compliance, and performance
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management
• Assist with staff scheduling and ensure appropriate program coverage
• Identify operational challenges and develop practical solutions
• Promote a safe, respectful, structured, and recovery-focused environment
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, referral sources, community partners, and other stakeholders
• Collaborate with organizational leadership on program goals and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure services are delivered in accordance with applicable organizational, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
• Support crisis management and problem-solving when needed
