Zusammenfassung

Bay Area First Step Inc. is seeking a dedicated Resource/Peer Mentor to support the Resource Department and provide recovery peer support services. You will coordinate activities, track data, and work closely with leadership to ensure program effectiveness and client engagement.

The role requires strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced nonprofit setting, with occasional driving and field interactions as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and basic computer skills.
• Ability to learn organizational software like Slack, Salesforce, and Dialpad.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Valid Oregon driver license.
• Nonprofit or admin experience preferred.
• Certified Recovery Mentor or Peer Support preferred but not required.
• Must have 2 years abstinence from all substances.

Aufgaben

• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Develop knowledge of organizational structure and operations.
• Adhere to BAFS policies and procedures.
• Coordinate recovery center activities and client meetings.
• Track services and prepare required reports.
• Schedule weekly and monthly meetings with leadership.
• Provide transportation duties as needed.
• Assist with keeping facilities clean.
