Job summary

Pacific Clinics seeks a Peer Partner to provide empathetic, peer-based support and mentorship to individuals facing challenges. You will share experiences to foster hope, build trust, and guide clients toward recovery and self-advocacy.

You will connect clients with community resources, document progress, and collaborate with staff to support holistic care while maintaining strict boundaries and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with possible equivalent experience in behavioral health or related fields.
• Experience as a recipient of behavioral health services, recovery services, or system involvement is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides peer-based support and mentorship to individuals facing similar challenges.
• Shares personal experiences in a respectful manner to foster hope and connection.
• Builds trusting, non-judgmental relationships to support recovery or growth journeys.
• Offers guidance, encouragement, and practical strategies for navigating systems and life challenges.
• Assists individuals in identifying strengths, setting goals, and developing self-advocacy skills.
• Connects individuals to community resources, support groups, and relevant services.
• Encourages empowerment, resilience, and personal responsibility.
• Collaborates with service providers and team members as part of a holistic network.
• Maintains boundaries and confidentiality in all peer interactions.
• Documents interactions and progress in program records.
