Services for the UnderServed is seeking a Peer Specialist to support tenant engagement, outreach, and advocacy. The role uses lived experience and recovery-oriented approaches to help participants develop wellness tools and connect with resources.

You will collaborate with the team to promote recovery-oriented language, document visits, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive culture. A strong emphasis on community awareness and crisis intervention readiness is required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma required.
• Two years of peer support or related activity experience preferred.
• Ability to disclose recovery story when appropriate.
• Excellent judgment and boundary-setting with participants.

Aufgaben

• Outreach/Engagement: promote awareness of S:US services and support tenant engagement.
• Advocacy: advocate for program participants within the community and team.
• Co-Creating Support and Wellness Tools: help participants develop wellness tools and life skills.
• Team Communication: maintain open communication and document visits as required.
