Centerstone is seeking a dedicated Peer Support Specialist to provide emotional and informational support to program participants and families in community or office settings.

You will help clients access recovery services, build coping skills, and coordinate wraparound supports while collaborating with treatment teams and community partners. Lived experience with mental health or substance use is valued to inspire hope and education.

Formación

• Lived experience with mental illness, substance use, or homelessness, or experience via family member.
• Experience navigating healthcare systems and community resources.
• CRPS certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Assist clients in identifying recovery goals and objectives.
• Provide individual and group peer support services.
• Model coping techniques and self-help strategies.
• Coordinate wraparound supports based on treatment plans.
• Collaborate with treatment team to develop and review plans.
• Network with community stakeholders to advocate for clients.
• Educate the community about peer support services.
• Complete required trainings to maintain compliance and productivity.
