Job summary

Blue Ridge Health is seeking a Peer Support Services Supervisor to lead and mentor the Peer Support Team within our Behavioral Healthcare division. The role focuses on promoting recovery-oriented practices, coordinating referrals, and ensuring high-quality client care across multiple service locations.

The supervisor will drive staff development, oversee service planning, and build collaborative partnerships with internal teams and community partners to expand recovery opportunities and reduce

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years’ experience as a Peer Support Specialist.
Lived behavioral health and/or substance use recovery experience.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise and mentor Peer Support Specialists across multiple service locations.
Promote a recovery-oriented culture and values within the team.
Coordinate referrals, triage cases and ensure timely access to services.
Plan, organize and direct work of Peer Support staff to meet standards of care.
Coordinate weekly team meetings and collaborate with internal and external partners.
