The position emphasizes empowerment, education, and self-determination with a focus on community integration. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a Peer Support Training certification, and a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification from a Peer Support Training Program is required.
• Valid Driver's license and acceptable driving history are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery-oriented support and interventions to individuals.
• Engage and outreach respectfully at each stage of change.
• Model and mentor recovery values to promote wellness and resilience.
• Demonstrate skill-building techniques to help clients progress toward goals.
• Teach harm reduction strategies to support safe decision making.
• Maintain safety and crisis planning in line with trauma-informed practices.
