Tompkins Community Bank is seeking an Operations Specialist to support Central Recovery operations, handling recovery servicing, compliance, payment processing, reporting, and admin tasks to ensure timely and accurate execution.

The role collaborates with borrowers, vendors, attorneys, and internal teams to manage loss mitigation, portfolios, and regulatory requirements while upholding data integrity and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in collections, recovery, or related financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in sensitive situations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support regulatory compliance efforts and reporting.
• Ensure accurate payment processing and data integrity.
• Foster relationships with borrowers, vendors, attorneys, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Support loss mitigation, collections, and portfolio administration.
• Coordinate property-related services and vendor management.
• Provide cross-functional support and maintain organized workflows.
