Job summary

CODA, Inc. invites you to join the Beaverton Recovery Center as a Recovery Mentor. You will support patients in accessing housing, benefits, and recovery services while modeling positive recovery behaviors in a warm, trauma-informed environment.

You will lead peer-based recovery groups, coordinate with community partners, and document progress in electronic health records. A driver’s license and certifications timely completion are required.

Qualifications

• Lived recovery experience and willingness to share journey to help others.
• Ability to build rapport, maintain boundaries, and offer trauma-informed support.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse communities and early stages of recovery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic records systems.
• Valid Oregon or Washington driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with housing, benefits, and recovery support services.
• Facilitate peer-led recovery and life skills groups.
• Transport patients to recovery-related appointments.
• Document patient interactions in electronic health records.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, trainings, and recovery-focused events.
• Help connect CODA with community partners and promote reintegration in education, housing, employment, and family stability.
