Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current PRSS Certification is required.
• Experience with substance use and mental health disorders preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Basic understanding of EMR systems preferred.
• Knowledge of recovery principles and trauma-informed care preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and document psychoeducational, process, and recovery-focused groups.
• Encourage client participation and engagement in treatment programming.
• Assist clients in identifying healthy coping skills and recovery strategies.
• Support clients in achieving treatment plan goals through group interventions and peer support.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Uphold HIPAA, client confidentiality, and professional boundaries at all times.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and required trainings.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure continuity of care and support client progress.
• Assist with crisis intervention and client support as directed by the clinical team.
• Support and implement SCBH philosophy with regard to all program components and maintenance of client dignity and respect.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
