The primary responsibility of the Group Facilitator is to provide recovery-focused group services, reporting to the Clinical Director, to persons served. Services are provided through facilitating and documenting psychoeducational, process, and recovery-oriented groups for individuals receiving treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The Group Facilitator serves as a positive role model in recovery, promotes client engagement in treatment, and helps clients develop healthy coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and recovery support networks.
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about helping others achieve and maintain recovery. The Group Facilitator works closely with the clinical and medical teams to support treatment goals, encourage participation in programming, and foster a safe and therapeutic environment for all clients, including those participating in the Veterans Program.
