Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Springfield, MO seeks a Group Facilitator to deliver educational and therapeutic group sessions within Recovery Services. You will create a safe, respectful environment and foster learning, engagement, and progress toward treatment goals while documenting sessions in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in group and public settings.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and adult education skills.
• Ability to interpret and present clinical information in a clear and understandable manner.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and therapeutic group sessions using approved curriculum and materials.
• Create a safe, supportive, respectful, and culturally responsive environment that promotes learning and participation.
• Engage clients in meaningful discussions that support treatment goals and recovery progress.
• Evaluate and communicate client participation, engagement, and progress to members of the treatment team.
• Document attendance, participation levels, group summaries, and services provided within the EHR system.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that reflects services delivered, client responses, and treatment needs.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support continuity of care and positive client outcomes.
• Participate in required training and professional development opportunities related to adult education and group facilitation.
• Monitor client wellbeing and promptly communicate safety concerns or potential risks to appropriate supervisory staff.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and professional standards.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
