Job summary

Attain Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Group Facilitator to join our team. As a CDCA, you will support clients on their path to recovery, collaborating with licensed counselors and other professionals.

You will lead group therapy, provide education on substance use and mental health, document progress, and maintain professional boundaries. Ohio CDCA certification and QMHS III are preferred, with 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred.
• Valid CDCA certification in Ohio required.
• QMHS III certification preferred.
• 3+ years of mental health and substance abuse experience.
• Strong interpersonal and group-management skills.
• Ability to use de-escalation, redirection, and conflict-resolution techniques.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead group therapy sessions and support groups for clients.
• Provide compassionate client support within treatment plans.
• De-escalate crises and notify supervisors when needed.
• Document client participation and progress accurately.
• Educate clients on substance use, mental health, coping skills, and recovery.
• Collaborate with licensed clinicians to implement treatment plans.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
