Job summary

RCA is seeking a Group Facilitator to deliver the substance abuse curriculum for patients in residential and IOP programs and to supervise A&D trainee staff. The facilitator will deliver 15–20 one-hour groups per week and attend staff meetings and trainings as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree or higher, a minimum of 2 years of related experience (residential preferred), and New Jersey CADC or higher licensure, along with strong communication and organizational

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience, preferably in a residential setting.
  • New Jersey CADC or higher licensure required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and demands.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure groups are delivered professionally and effectively to meet learning objectives.
  • Provide 1 hour of supervision and training to A&D Trainee status employees each week.
  • Engage with the recovery community in a culturally competent way, in and outside the group setting.
  • Complete group notes and paperwork; complete supervision documentation and monthly group observations for each trainee.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
