Job summary

RCA is seeking a Group Facilitator to deliver the substance abuse curriculum for patients in residential and IOP programs and to supervise A&D trainee staff. The facilitator will deliver 15–20 one-hour groups per week and attend staff meetings and trainings as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree or higher, a minimum of 2 years of related experience (residential preferred), and New Jersey CADC or higher licensure, along with strong communication and organizational

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher.
Minimum of 2 years related experience, preferably in a residential setting.
New Jersey CADC or higher licensure required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and demands.

Responsibilities

Ensure groups are delivered professionally and effectively to meet learning objectives.
Provide 1 hour of supervision and training to A&D Trainee status employees each week.
Engage with the recovery community in a culturally competent way, in and outside the group setting.
Complete group notes and paperwork; complete supervision documentation and monthly group observations for each trainee.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
