Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services preferred.
• 72-hour DBHDS Peer Support Specialist training completed prior to hiring is preferred.
• Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist preferred at time of hire and required within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provides recovery support services for consumers transitioning from incarceration or progressing through court programs.
• Works with community partners (ACRJ, OAR, local DSS) to support reentry and reintegration.
