Qualifications

• CPSS credential required.
• Lived recovery experience from mental health or substance use.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and model recovery.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery-oriented, peer support services per CST definitions and program requirements.
• Use lived experience to build rapport, instill hope, and promote empowerment.
• Help members with coping strategies, daily living skills, wellness goals, and recovery planning.
• Assist members in accessing community resources, housing, benefits, and natural supports.
• Participate in development, implementation, and monitoring of Person-Centered Plans.
• Provide crisis support and de-escalation with linkage to clinical or emergency services.
• Accompany members in community settings to promote engagement and independence.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in line with policies and Medicaid standards.
• Collaborate with CST QPs, Team Leads, and partners to monitor progress and adjust interventions.
• Participate in meetings and training while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
