Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CADC, LSW or LAC certification is required.
• Knowledgeable in addiction terminology; ability to multitask and strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess counseling needs and use ASI or other standardized tools to evaluate clients.
• Determine level of care according to ASAM Criteria and develop treatment plans with goals and measurable objectives.
• Document counseling and education services, assessments, and referrals in the client record within 24 hours of service provision.
• Collaborate with referral sources and participate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Review and revise treatment plans as needed and coordinate discharge/transfer planning.
