Job summary

Connections Health Solutions in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) to support recovery-oriented treatment and document care in the EHR. The RSS will facilitate groups, serve as a recovery advocate, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet individual needs.

The role prioritizes personal recovery, adherence to vaccination policy, and knowledge of community resources to promote durable recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of personal recovery.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vaccination policy compliance required for employment.
• Experience using EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group sessions and act as a recovery advocate throughout treatment.
• Build therapeutic alliance to reduce seclusion and restraints where possible.
• Know and connect clients to community recovery resources and paths.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support treatment and recovery.
• Document encounters in the electronic health record.
• Share appropriate self‑disclosure to support clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
