Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a full-time case manager for the Joseph McFee Center in San Francisco. The role focuses on assessment, goal planning, referrals, and advocacy to support residents exiting residential treatment.

Under supervision of the Program Director, you will build collaborative relationships with staff and partner agencies, coordinate services, and maintain confidential records while upholding ethical standards in a recovery-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college coursework in social services or psychology preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to empathize and collaborate with clients in a recovery-focused setting.
• Familiarity with San Francisco social services, government resources, healthcare, and housing services.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and develop individualized action plans.
• Manage caseload up to 25 participants.
• Coordinate referrals and resources with partner organizations.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain client records in The Salvation Army Social Services Database.
• Attend meetings and trainings and provide crisis intervention when needed.
