Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an on-site Recovery Coach for the BHCHP Office-Based Addiction Treatment clinic in Boston. The role focuses on engaging patients with substance use disorders, providing harm-reduction resources, and addressing barriers to care.

This is a part-time, 24-hour-per-week position within a research study context. Qualified candidates have sustained recovery experience and experience with SUDs; HS diploma required, with experience in lieu of a degree accepted.

Qualifications

• Must have sustained recovery experience (2–3 years).
• Experience with people with substance use disorders preferred (1–2 years).
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with basic office software (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with care team to assess and plan patient care needs.
• Engage patients and connect them to recovery resources.
• Interact with patients beyond scheduled appointments to support goals.
• Develop relationships with community groups and supports.
• Attend care team meetings and document non-clinical notes.
