Job summary

Valle del Sol in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Peer & Recovery Support Specialist. This role leverages lived experience to provide recovery-oriented support, engage clients in treatment, and promote personal wellness goals.

You will collaborate with clinical teams, facilitate peer-led groups, document services, and help individuals navigate behavioral health and social supports. Requires eligible to work in the U.S.; state-certified peer support preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have lived experience with behavioral health and/or substance use recovery and be in stable recovery for at least 1 year.
• Experience facilitating groups and recovery-oriented activities is preferred.
• Ability to document services and communicate effectively with the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support and recovery coaching to individuals in treatment programs.
• Engage and retain participants in services and promote self-determination.
• Facilitate peer-led groups and recovery education sessions.
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical staff to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with agency policies.
