Job summary

Sanctuary Recovery Centers is seeking a Peer Support Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona to provide empathetic support to individuals facing mental health challenges. You will act as a mentor and advocate, engaging with clients and helping them establish their recovery plans.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in behavioral health, along with personal recovery experience. This role includes leading community events and maintaining accurate documentation of client progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the behavioral health field.
• One or more consecutive years in recovery from alcohol or drugs and/or GMH preferred.
• Certified Peer Support (PSS) according to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with individuals facing mental health challenges offering supportive guidance.
