Job summary

Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana seeks energetic professionals to join its expanding team. The Certified Recovery Coach delivers recovery support and coaching, working with case managers to coordinate and document direct services for clients.

The role emphasizes training, ethical practice, and adherence to program policies. A driving role with background checks and CPR certification is required, with VOAOHIN offering certification if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Current certification as Certified Recovery Specialist and/or ICAADA Recovery Coach.
• Background checks (state, county, and DCS) required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• First Aid & CPR certification required and maintained; VOAOHIN provides certification if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused recovery support and skills training to clients.
• Coordinate and document direct services in collaboration with the case manager and treatment counselor.
• Deliver one-on-one coaching in accordance with ethical guidelines and applicable policies.
