Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana seeks energetic professionals to join its expanding team. The Certified Recovery Coach provides focused support to clients during treatment and works closely with the case manager and treatment counselor to coordinate, deliver, and document direct services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma minimum; associate degree preferred.
• Current certification as a Certified Recovery Specialist and/or ICAADA Recovery Coach or equivalent.
• Must pass state, county, and DCS background checks; valid Indiana Driver’s License.
• First Aid & CPR certification required and must be maintained.

• The Certified Recovery Coach is responsible for focused support of clients during treatment.
• The CRS will work very closely with the case manager and treatment counselor to coordinate, deliver, and document direct service to clients.
• The primary focus of a CRS is the delivery of recovery and/or skills training and one-on-one coaching to clients in accordance with the CRS code of ethics, DMHA, Department of Child Services, Recovery Works, and VOA policies and procedures.

• Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Current certification as a Certified Recovery Specialist and/or ICAADA Recovery Coach or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to pass a state, county, and DCS background check.
• A valid Indiana Driver’s License and clear driving record are required.
• First Aid & CPR certification is required and must be maintained.
