Job summary

Monte Nido Parsippany is seeking a full-time Recovery Coach to join our team in Parsippany, NJ. The role supports clients through recovery, aligned with treatment plans, and helps build healthy connections within the milieu.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Pay rate ranges from $16 to $21 per hour, with weekend and overnight differentials. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development in the mental health and eating disorder fields.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years post-high school education; psychology background preferred.
• Experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired.
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License with safe driving history.
• Good communication and client-relations skills; ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through their recovery journey as part of the care team.
• Provide support and intervention aligned with the treatment plan.
• Engage clients to build healthy connections within the milieu and team.
• Assist in food prep and supervise client meals and snacks.
• Facilitate exposure to therapeutic groups and core skill development.
• Conduct rounds and provide observations.
• Occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.

Monte Nido Parsippany, located in Parsippany, NJ, is a primary eating disorder day treatment program for adults and adolescents seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Through partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming, clients participate in group and individual therapy, benefit from Monte Nido’s clinical, medical, psychiatric, and nutritional expertise, and experience real-life challenges.

We are seeking a full-time Recovery Coach to join our Monte Nido team.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Rate

$16 - $21/hr, plus weekend and overnight shift differentials
