Job summary

InterCare Community Health Network in Bangor, MI seeks a Full-Time Peer Recovery Coach to support patients in the SUD program. The role offers a starting wage of $19.52 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, and health coverage.

Work hours are typically Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some variation. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and experience in mental health or substance use services. No weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have personal experience with a substance use disorder and have used SUD services.
• Ability to establish effective relationships with individuals who have substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to patients in the SUD program.
• Offer education from lived-experience perspective to the team.
• Maintain clear communication with the SUD team regarding patient status.
