Job summary

Samaritas in Michigan is seeking a Recovery Coach in Warren to support individuals navigating Substance Use Disorder. You’ll act as a mentor, advocate, and connector, helping clients access resources, build recovery plans, and find hope in their journey.

This full-time, on-site role is at our new SUD offices near 13 Mile and VanDyke. Starting pay is $21/hour, with comprehensive benefits after 30 days; applicants should have lived recovery experience and the CPRC credential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required (bachelor’s preferred)
• Lived experience in substance use and recovery with at least 2 years of sobriety required
• Must possess a current MDHHS Certified Peer Recovery Coach (CPRC) credential
• Experience working with individuals or families in recovery preferred

Responsibilities

• Client Support & Recovery Planning: Partner with clients to develop individualized recovery plans; identify goals, strengths, and recovery resources; collaborate with clinicians and care teams to support treatment plans.
