Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems in Lynn, MA is seeking a Recovery Coach to provide non-clinical support in Peer Recovery Support Centers, drawing on lived experience with addiction and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. You will engage members, offer health and wellness coaching, and help them identify community resources.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, recovery-oriented certification preferred, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team while remaining independent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Training and certification appropriate to the role; recovery coach or certified peer specialist is preferred.
• Must have lived experience with mental health, substance use conditions, or family supporting a family member with behavioral health challenges; and be in recovery.
• Prefer current or former recipient of behavioral health services.
• Strongly prefer that a candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
• High energy level, flexibility, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a multidisciplinary team atmosphere while also working independently.

The Recovery Coach is responsible for
