Family & Children's Services seeks a Peer Recovery Support Specialist to provide recovery-focused peer support to adults with mental health and substance use challenges. The role emphasizes empowerment, navigation to treatment and community resources, and collaboration with clinical staff within a CCBHC framework.

Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package, including 34 paid days off in the first year. Must obtain required certifications after hire and drive as needed.

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or HS equivalent.
• Experience as a recipient of mental health services for adults with mental illness.
• Certification requirements: PRSS, CM1, Wellness Coach after hire; valid driver’s license for travel.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-on-one and group peer support to individuals in recovery.
• Share personal experiences to build trust and empower clients.
• Help clients develop recovery/safety/stabilization plans and set goals.
