Community Counseling of Bristol County in Massachusetts is seeking a Recovery Coach to support peers in the Community Support Program, helping them gain hope, explore recovery, and achieve life goals. You will share your lived recovery experience to build rapport and support members in maintaining recovery.

We welcome multilingual candidates (English plus Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, or Cape Verdean Creole).

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• EOHHS approved Recovery Coach Training is required.
• Lived recovery experience with at least 2 years of continuous abstinence if in personal recovery.
• Good time management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Personal, insured vehicle with clean driving record (driving record will be verified).

Responsabilidades

• Utilize recovery-based practices and motivational interviewing to build rapport with members in the community.
• Collaborate with members to develop comprehensive Wellness Plans and Relapse Prevention Plans.
• Maintain a caseload of up to 30 members and complete all documentation and insurance requirements.
• Maintain weekly communication with members and engage in person or by phone to aid recovery.
• Provide information on community resources that meet the member’s needs.
• Coordinate connections to addiction and recovery services, including MAT.
• Escort members to provider appointments and related meetings using your vehicle.
• Collaborate with natural supports and community providers.
