Brightli in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to inspire hope and independence using lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery. You will help participants shape treatment goals, connect to resources, and support their recovery journeys.

This role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and effective communication, with opportunities to coordinate care, attend meetings, and document services per CARF standards.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Certified Peer Specialist certification required.
• Must self-identify as a current or former recipient of mental health or substance use services.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must complete five-day Basic Training Program and pass MO certification exam within six months.

Responsabilités

• Use lived experience to build hope and support participants in treatment goals.
• Facilitate group education to strengthen recovery skills.
• Coordinate with community resources and transportation for services.
• Document services accurately per state/CARF standards.
• Collaborate with staff and guardians on progress and records.
• Represent the agency professionally and participate in staffing meetings.
