Job summary

The GRIT program at MHA (Mental Health Association) seeks a Clinician to deliver structured, recovery-oriented services to adults in a residential setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to address co-occurring mental health and substance use needs and help with aftercare planning for reintegration into the community.

The position offers a 40-hour weekly schedule with Sunday–Tuesday and Thursday 9am–5pm, plus Wednesday 11am–7pm, and a pay range of $52,000–$57,000 annually depending

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field required.
• Licensure preferred: LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LADC I.
• Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders is strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle preferred; CPR/First Aid certification expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions to address residents’ co-occurring needs.
• Facilitate one clinical group per week for peer support and growth.
• Participate in treatment team meetings to develop and review service plans.
• Contribute to aftercare plans for smooth discharge and community reintegration.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in line with standards.
• Support residents with a trauma-informed, recovery-focused approach.
• Foster resilience and empowerment throughout the recovery journey.
