Job summary

A leading mental health organization in Massachusetts is seeking dedicated Relief Staff for its GRIT program. This role involves providing support and supervision to residents in a recovery-focused environment, assisting individuals with personal recovery goals, and fostering collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and meet specific certification requirements. This position offers a flexible per diem schedule with a pay rate of $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be available to pick up shifts as necessary, working a minimum of 2 required shifts per month.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a safe, reliable vehicle to utilize during work hours.
• Must have auto insurance with your name listed on the policy as an insured driver.
• Must have an acceptable driving record (no more than 3 violations within the past 3 years).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a background and CORI check.
• Must be able to pass and maintain certifications in medication administration (MAP), CPR, and First Aid.
• Must be able to work independently, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with a team.
• Must be comfortable with a person-centered approach, with adaptability to support participants' changing needs.

Overview

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals navigating recovery? MHA's GRIT program is looking for dedicated, compassionate Relief Staff to join our team on a per diem basis. GRIT is a Residential Rehabilitation Services program designed to support adults experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health diagnoses as they work toward long-term recovery.
