Mental Health Association - Western MA in Massachusetts is seeking a Clinician to provide structured, recovery-oriented services to adults in the GRIT residential program. The role focuses on co-occurring mental health and substance use needs within a multidisciplinary team, supporting aftercare planning for community reintegration.

Open shifts Sun-Tue, Thu 9-5 and Wed 11-7; 40 hours weekly. Requires degree in related field; licensure preferred; CPR/First Aid certification; strong documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Licensure preferred: LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LADC I.
• Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders is strongly preferred.
• Must pass and maintain CPR and First Aid certification (training provided if necessary).

Responsabilités

• Conduct individual therapy sessions addressing residents’ co-occurring needs.
• Facilitate one clinical group per week in a safe environment.
• Participate in treatment team meetings to develop and review individualized service plans.
• Contribute to aftercare plans for smooth discharge transition.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation per standards.
• Support residents with trauma-informed, recovery-focused care.
• Foster resilience and empowerment throughout recovery.
