Job summary

CommQuest in Massillon, OH is seeking a Full Time Assistant House Manager at our Recovery Campus. You will support residential services, ensuring safety, compliance, and smooth operation while coordinating staff development, vendor relations, and daily activities.

Responsibilities include inspections, drills, credential tracking, assisting in hiring and training, crisis and behavioral intervention, vendor management, and maintaining schedules and client records. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Dependency, Psychology, Social Work or similar field.
CDCA certification or higher required.
2–3 years in recovery services with at least 1 year in supervisory role.
NVCI and CPR/First Aid training within 90 days of employment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
On-call availability including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Complete safety inspections, drills, and vehicle registrations; track residential staff credentials including Serv Safe.
Assist the Director of Residential Operations with hiring, training and onboarding; contribute to annual performance reviews.
Provide crisis and behavioral intervention; assist residents with ADLs.
Coordinate vendor relationships; oversee supply orders and housekeeping needs.
Manage donations and vendor deliveries; ensure client rights postings compliance.
Maintain residential client tracking forms and current house schedule postings.
In the absence of Lead Residential Technician, perform related duties to ensure coverage.
All other duties as assigned.
