Job summary

CommQuest Services, Inc. is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist Supervisor for our Massillon, OH campus.

You will provide day-to-day leadership, training, and support to Recovery Support Specialists, ensuring a safe, structured, and recovery-oriented environment for clients. In this role you will oversee onboarding, coordinate daily operations, support client recovery and residential programming, and maintain documentation and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; some college education preferred.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in chemical dependency/addiction services.
• Active CDCA credential or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Current CPR/First Aid; complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 90 days.
• Valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance.
• On-call availability; some evenings/weekends required.
• 10 paid holidays annually; retirement plan with company match; medical/dental/vision plans.
• CEU/Licensure reimbursements: paid work release, CEUs funds, licensure coverage, Pyramid CEUs, and training discounts.

CommQuest is currently seeking a Full Time Recovery Support Specialist Supervisor at our Recovery Campus in Massillon, OH. The Recovery Support Specialist Supervisor (RSS Supervisor) provides day-to-day leadership, training, and support to Recovery Support Specialists while helping ensure a safe, structured, and recovery-oriented environment for clients. This role supports RSS onboarding and development, coordinates daily staff activities, promotes effective client support and engagement, and serves as a key link between Recovery Support Staff, House Management, and clinical teams.

What you'll do

Schedule

Days/Evenings, including one weekend day per week (Saturday or Sunday) w/ Flex. Schedule to be determined with leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; some college education preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience working with clients in the chemical dependency/addiction services field required.
• Must possess an active CDCA credential or obtain and maintain a CDCA credential within 12 months of hire.
• Maintains current CPR/First Aid certification; Successfully complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training and certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain and maintain any required level of licensure or credentialing based on assigned duties, training, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and driving record that meets agency insurance requirements.
• Availability for rotating on-call shifts, some evenings and weekends required.

  • Up to 16 hours of paid work release annually for workshops, with $200 in funds for CEUs (24 hours and $250 for employees maintaining two licenses).
  • Licensure fee coverage up to $320 annually for one license.
  • Access to Pyramid programs for CEUs, with costs deducted from funding, and one Pyramid training at a 50% discount.
  • Flexible work scheduling with supervisor approval to make up time during workshop weeks.
