Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a CPRSS to support outpatient clients in recovery-oriented care. You will mentor clients, teach coping skills, and assist in defining personal recovery goals, using WRAP and other wellness tools as part of a structured care plan.

Responsibilities include facilitating groups, developing empowerment skills, and coordinating with teams to ensure consumer voice is represented. A high school diploma is required and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in recovery support and advocacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor the value of recovery experience to others.
• Model coping techniques and self-help strategies for clients.
• Assist service recipients in articulating personal recovery goals.
• Support writing and pursuing objectives to reach recovery goals.
• Facilitate self-help groups and Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP).
• Promote empowerment, community integration and natural supports.
