GRAND Lake Mental Health Center, Inc. in Sand Springs, OK is seeking a CPRSS to provide recovery-focused support services. This full-time, non-exempt role offers direct engagement with consumers to promote wellness, coping skills, and self-directed recovery planning.

The CPRSS will mentor individuals, facilitate WRAP strategies, assist in setting recovery goals, and collaborate with treatment teams to maximize personal empowerment and community integration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and must be in recovery from a behavioral health and/or substance abuse disorder or nicotine recovery.
• One year of experience and participation in local or national consumer advocacy or knowledge in mental health recovery, preferred.
• Core competencies related to individuals with co-occurring disorders.

Responsabilités

• Teach and mentor the value of every individual’s recovery experience.
• Model effective coping techniques and self-help strategies.
• Assist service recipients in articulating personal goals for recovery.
• Assist service recipients in determining the objectives needed to reach his/her recovery goals.
• Proactively engage consumers and transfer new concepts, ideas and insight to others.
• Assist in setting up and sustaining self-help groups.
