Job summary

State of Florida’s Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles invites applications for a Records Specialist (WT: Motorist Services Specialist) in Tallahassee. The role handles high-volume telephone inquiries from the public and field offices and supports the Medical Imaging & Correspondence unit.

Candidates will research and investigate complex driver issues by coordinating with other agencies and internal staff to resolve cases; knowledge of driver license laws and customer service

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office and data entry.
• Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong information gathering and issue-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive/confidential information.
• Experience with multi-line phone systems and call handling.
• Knowledge of driver license laws, policies, and procedures.
