Job summary

Responsibilities

• Review requests for release and obtain authorization as required.
• Identify and comply with release of records requiring special handling.
• File all properly executed authorizations to release confidential information.
• Process medical records and billing information requests and submit to requester.
• Schedule depositions and conferences with Medical Records Custodian and/or providers.
• Maintain medical records request tracking log.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
