Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in health care; home health preferred.
• Familiarity with medical records management including HIPAA and Release of Information protocols.
• Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office and EMR systems (HomeCare HomeBase or EPIC).
• Experience with document management systems (Worldview) and e-fax systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, batch, send, and track physician orders and necessary forms.
• Follow up on outstanding or returned documents to meet regulatory timeframes.
• Coordinate with Sales and staff to minimize write‑offs and manage A/R.
• Enter demographic changes and routine visit time changes in EMR.
• Assist clients and families in understanding order tracking and records procedures.
