Job summary

The Idaho Industrial Commission seeks a Compliance Specialist (Technical Records Specialist 2) to review business operations, research and interpret workers’ compensation laws and regulations, and help determine employer coverage and worker classification under Idaho Workers’ Compensation Insurance laws.

Key duties include researching Employer Compliance records, conducting fact-finding interviews, explaining policies to stakeholders, and processing notices of non-compliance while maintaining

• Research and analyze Employer Compliance records, policy databases, and other sources to determine compliance with Workers’ Compensation Insurance Law.
• Conduct fact-finding interviews to gather information about business operations to support coverage determinations.
• Explain policies, procedures, and technical information to workers’ compensation stakeholders.
• Review canceled policy reports and issue follow-up notices as needed.
