Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Records Clerk located at the Redstone Test and Engineering Support (RTES) Contract in Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. Astrion has worked extensively with the Redstone Test and Engineering Support (RTES) Contract where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Graduate of Army Flight Operations Specialist course (93P/15P) or other service equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience with Centralized Aviation Flight Records System (CAFRS).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)
- Experience using the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS). Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of software.
Responsibilities
- Support the assigned Flight Operations Officer, Standardization Pilots with the Commander’s Aviation Training and Standardization Program utilizing CAFRS.
- Inspect Individual Flight Records Folders and Individual Aircrew Training Folder management.
- Duties include reading and interpreting Service Guidance and Contract Flight and Ground Operational Procedures.
- Verify eligibility and process Military Awards and Flight Pay.
- Review Flight Schedule and resolve conflicts.
- Notify Aircrews of required training.
- Record training events to IFRF and IATF utilizing CAFRS.
- Record Flight Physicals to IFRF and IATF utilizing CAFRS.
- Transcribe flight time for Aircrews.
- Archive required hard copies to IFRF and IATF
- Assist Aircrews with certifying documents.
- Assist in system software user issues with Helpdesk.
- Create various reports for Commander’s Aviation Training and Standardization Program needs.
- Enroll and schedule Aircrew for various specialized qualification course utilizing ATTRS.
- Enroll and schedule Aircrew for various specialized training through direct POCs.
