The U.S. Bankruptcy Court - District of CT is hiring an entry-level Data Entry Clerk to manage data entry and ensure data integrity in company databases. We are seeking a level entry, detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining information in our company databases and systems. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to manage large volumes of data, and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter data into appropriate systems and databases.
Review and verify data for completeness and accuracy.
Update and maintain information on company systems and in archived files.
Perform regular data quality checks and resolve discrepancies.
Organize and maintain records and files, both electronically and physically.
Respond to data requests and retrieve data as needed.
Assist with generating reports and performing basic data analysis.
Follow data program techniques and procedures to maintain high standards of data integrity and security.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in data management or administration are a plus.
Proven experience in data entry or a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with database systems is a plus.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
