Job summary

The Idaho Transportation Department is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Records Assistant to join our team in Idaho. This non-benefited position is scheduled to work 20–40 hours per week and focuses on reviewing project records for state and federal compliance.

The Records Assistant collaborates with the District Records Inspector to ensure confidentiality and proper archival handling, closeouts, and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with records management or filing systems preferred.
  • Experience handling archival, historical, or confidential records is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review completed project records for state and federal compliance.
  • Collaborate with district records inspector to review projects.
  • Review material and financial records of each project.
  • Work with project managers to close out projects and obtain information needed for closeout.
  • Follow established document handling procedures to preserve historical and confidential records.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality while working with sensitive information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Records Assistant to join our team. This non-benefited position is scheduled to work 20–40 hours per week and offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organization, reviewing records , and determining State and Federal compliance.

Position Summary

The Records Assistant will be responsible for reviewing completed projects to ensure they meet state and federal requirements. This position will work closely with the District Records Inspector to review project records and assess compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential and historical records with care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
